Kim Jong Un Death Claim Accompanies Unverified Clip Said to Be From North Korea – Video

A video described as secretly recorded by a tourist in North Korea has been shared alongside a claim that Kim Jong Un has died. The footage does not substantiate that claim.

The 22-second silent clip appears to show a uniformed person wearing a long dark cloak beside a building. Its filming date, location and original source have not been established.

Yonhap reported on October 20 that online rumors of Kim’s death lacked supporting evidence. North Korean state media had released photographs said to show him attending an exhibition in Pyongyang on October 19.
