Grant County Court authorizes road hire, fund transfer

Sean Lang will perform at the 2027 Grant County Fair after the court unanimously approved an entertainment contract for him in the amount of $5,000. Grant County Judge Jim Hamsher expressed reservations about the county funding the position, which would make the intern a county employee.

In other business, the court agreed to transfer funds to the library district to pay for a summer intern at the Grant County Library.
