Fire restrictions eased on Wyoming side of Black Hills National Forest

Campfires will be allowed again in designated areas of the Wyoming side of the Black Hills National Forest starting Friday, as officials ease fire restrictions. Under the change, visitors can have campfires in permanent Forest Service fire rings at developed campgrounds, picnic areas and recreation sites.

The Bearlodge and Hell Canyon ranger districts will move to Stage 1 restrictions at midnight Oct.
