Palm Springs Airport to break ground on $94 million baggage system in California

Palm Springs International Airport will break ground this morning on a nearly $94 million baggage handling system designed to triple its baggage processing capacity. Airport spokesperson Jake Ingrassia says the current system can process only about half the number of bags the airport needs to handle.

The project will help PSP keep pace with growing passenger demand.
