Safety repairs cause temporary closure of Midway Airport runway

Runway 22L is expected to be closed for safety repairs through mid-November. Runway 22L is closed to arrivals and departures effective immediately while repairs are made for recent damages caused by aircraft activity, the Chicago Department of Aviation announced.
