Update: Reported Threat Unfounded in Dallas, Texas; Downtown Streets Open

Dallas police said a reported threat in the 800 block of Main Street was determined to be unfounded following a preliminary investigation.

The department confirmed that Main Street, North Lamar Street, Elm Street and North Market Street are open.

Officers had responded to the reported threat, prompting an earlier advisory warning drivers to expect heavy traffic in the area.
