Man charged for alleged machete attack threat on elementary school

A man from north-central Iowa has been charged after police say he threatened to attack an elementary school, KCCI reports. All four of its buildings were locked down until around 11:45 a.m. as a precaution.

Seth Johnson, 45, of Hampton, is charged with threat of terrorism, a Class D felony.
