Driver Arrested for DUI After Patrol Car Struck on I-5 in Federal Way, Washington

A driver was arrested on suspicion of driving under the influence after striking a patrol car on northbound Interstate 5 at South 272nd Street in Federal Way, Washington, according to a post shared by Trooper Rick Johnson.

The collision happened just before 2 a.m. while troopers were blocking the HOV lane for another crash.

The trooper was outside the patrol vehicle when it was struck and was not injured.
