Fire destroys 2,000 toys for Salvation Army’s Greater Cleveland Christmas campaign

The toys were stored in a storage unit and intended for children ri receive gifts through the Salvation Army’s annual Christmas campaign. “It was just an electrical fire that happened—really, no one’s fault,” Ashcraft says.
The loss affects about 800 children, according to Captain Joel Ashcraft, area commander for The Salvation Army in Greater Cleveland.
