FEMA denies Texas request for flood assistance in Kerr County

FEMA is denying a Texas request for Individual Assistance after July’s devastating floods in Kerrville and Kerr County. City officials hope an appeal will persuade the Federal Emergency Management Agency to reconsider and provide financial assistance to affected families.

The City of Kerrville expressed disappointment with the decision, saying residents continue to rebuild damaged homes and recover from the disaster.
