Confidence in local economy improves in October: Poll

Citing its latest survey conducted Oct. The optimism index for current economic conditions also moved higher, rising from 16.5 in September to 20.0 in October, according to the survey.

This result translated into an economic optimism index of about 19.7 in October, up from 14.8 in September.
