13-year-old dies after electric scooter crashes into fence in Greenfield, California

A 13-year-old Greenfield resident died after an electric scooter crash near Elm and Fourth streets at about 11:30 a.m. The rider crashed into a metal fence and suffered internal injuries, per police.

Monday, the Greenfield police and fire departments said. They were taken to a local trauma center, where they later died, according to the department.
