Lockdown at Alief school lifted after bomb threat; voters still able to vote

A lockdown at Alief high school Wednesday afternoon did not stop voters from casting ballots at a vote center located at the district's administration building. No injuries were reported and police didn't say anyone was detained.
The school lockdown was lifted after 4 p.m. and the district began dismissing students, according to Briana Augustus, a spokesperson for the district.
