Two years in, hospital rises in Astoria skyline

Wednesday was the two-year mark since the official groundbreaking for the BuildCMH Expansion Project. During year two, construction was more visible, as the hospital rose up and began taking shape after the foundation was poured and steel was erected.

Phase 1, which includes the expanded Columbia Memorial Hospital, remains on track to be complete in late 2027 and open to patients in early 2028.
