National School Bus Safety Week highlights driver, student and community roles

This week is recognized as National School Bus Safety Week, a time to highlight safe driving habits, student awareness and the role of bus drivers. Other drivers, parents and students also play a role.

Keeping kids safe on the roads isn’t only about bus drivers. Richard Dashiell, director of transportation, said community members should pay close attention when driving around school buses.
