Bond denied for man arrested after shooting that killed 82-year-old Bellevue man

The man arrested after a fatal shooting in Bellevue last week made his first appearance in court on Monday. He waived his preliminary hearing, and his arraignment in district court was scheduled for November 2.

23-year-old Cody Simons was formally charged with First Degree Murder and Use of a Firearm to Commit a Felony.
