Iowa farm grants restored by court order — for now

Both groups ultimately joined a federal lawsuit against the USDA that demanded the restoration of grant funding. A federal district court in July issued a preliminary injunction restoring grant funding while the lawsuit continues, a move recently upheld despite an appeal from the USDA.

They were joined by dozens of other program participants from across the country.
