Commissioners Court recognizes domestic violence month, reallocates funding to Price Center

13 meeting, the Hays County Commissioner’s Court recognized the month of October as Domestic Violence Awareness Month and reallocated funding to the Price Center. The month will highlight and raise awareness of the importance of domestic violence survivors.

The commissioners proclaimed October 2026 as a month-long recognition of National Domestic Violence Awareness Month.
