Giant takes 10% off grocery bills during website and app outage

The video tells shoppers to ask the cashier to apply the discount at checkout. Giant’s statement to news outlets adds terms the video leaves out.

A $150 order still saves $10, which is about 6.7%. Customers will receive the offer by email instead of the weekly promotional email, and it is limited to one redemption per household.
