Update: Oregon School Victims Shot in One Classroom

All victims of the shooting at Silver Rail Elementary School in Bend, Oregon, were shot in a single classroom, police said in an update reported by CGTN America.

Police also revealed that a teacher threw a cellphone and tackled the teenage gunman during Thursday’s attack, which killed three children and a teacher.

CGTN America reported that police identified the shooter as Griffin John II, a 16-year-old former student. Earlier reporting had identified him as John J. Griffin II, making the name’s order a discrepancy that still needs clarification.
