WEATHER ALERT: Severe Thunderstorm Watch For Southern Maryland Until 8pm

The National Weather Service Baltimore/Washington has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch that includes Calvert, Charles and St. The watch was issued at 2:14 p.m.

The Severe Thunderstorm Watch remains in effect until 8 p.m. According to the National Weather Service, the primary threat is widespread wind gusts of up to 70 mph.
