Tesla Roadster ‘rocket mode’ claimed to push speed beyond 230 mph

Tesla Roadster’s newly announced specifications include a claimed 0–60 mph time of as little as 0.59 seconds for the Rocket trim, with deliveries scheduled to begin in 2028.

The announcement lists more than 300 miles of range and a top speed exceeding 230 mph for the Rocket version.

It also claims the car can fly, although the information provided does not explain the duration, altitude or operating limits of that capability.

A multi-mode suction system is said to generate up to 2Gs of stationary downforce, producing aerodynamic grip even when the vehicle is not moving.
