Tornado Warning for Garza and Kent counties, Texas, until 5:30 p.m. CDT

A Tornado Warning is in effect for parts of Garza and Kent counties in Texas until 5:30 p.m. CDT Wednesday, October 14, according to the National Weather Service in Lubbock.

The warning includes the Clairemont area. Radar indicates a tornado threat, and quarter-sized hail is possible.

People within the warning area should take shelter immediately in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows.
