Flash Flood Warning Yucca AZ: Considerable flood threat in Mohave County until 10:15 AM MST

Flash Flood Warning Yucca AZ is in effect for southwestern Mohave County, Arizona, until 10:15 a.m. MST as heavy rain creates a considerable risk of dangerous flooding.

Between 0.75 and 1.5 inches of rain have already fallen across the warned area.

Flash flooding ongoing or expected shortly

Forecasters warn that flash flooding is either already occurring or could begin very soon, particularly in washes, low-lying roads and poor-drainage areas.

The warning includes Yucca, where residents and motorists should be prepared for rapidly rising water.

Considerable flash flood damage threat

The warning carries a considerable flash flood damage threat, meaning some roads could become dangerous or impassable with little notice.

Drivers should never attempt to cross flooded roads or flowing washes, as water depth and current strength can be difficult to judge.

Residents in flood-prone areas should move to higher ground if water begins rising nearby.

The Flash Flood Warning Yucca AZ remains in effect until 10:15 a.m. MST unless extended or canceled earlier.
