SR 47 closure at US 421 expected to cause delays in Boone County through Wednesday

Drivers in Boone County, Indiana, should expect delays as INDOT roadwork closes the intersection of State Road 47 and U.S. 421.

According to the Boone County Sheriff’s Office, roadwork is underway on SR 47 between SR 39 and U.S. 421, with the SR 47/US 421 intersection closed through Wednesday, October 7.

Motorists are being advised to find an alternate route, allow extra travel time and use caution around the work zone.
