A magnitude 2.4 earthquake was recorded near Big Bear City at 2026-10-06 01:40 PDT, according to U.S. Geological Survey (USGS). The earthquake was measured at a depth of about 2.9 km. The epicenter was approximately 4 km from Big Bear City.
