M4.0 earthquake strikes southeast of Santa María Xadani, Mexico

A magnitude 4.0 earthquake struck southern Mexico on Tuesday, with the epicenter located about 67 kilometers southeast of Santa María Xadani.

The earthquake was reported by the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre shortly after it occurred.
