Tornado Warning Issued for Gasque, Alabama Until 4:30 PM CDT

A Tornado Warning has been issued for Gasque, Alabama, and surrounding areas until 4:30 p.m. CDT Sunday, October 4, 2026, according to the National Weather Service.

The tornado threat is radar indicated, meaning rotation capable of producing a tornado has been detected by weather radar. No hail is currently expected with the warned storm.

Approximately 3,065 people are within the warning area.

Residents in the affected area should move immediately to an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building, away from windows. People in mobile homes or vehicles should seek more substantial shelter if it can be reached safely.

The warning remains in effect until 4:30 p.m. CDT unless canceled or extended by the National Weather Service.
