Tornado Warning continues for Amarillo, Bishop Hills and Cliffside, Texas until 10:15 p.m.

A Tornado Warning remains in effect for Amarillo, Bishop Hills and Cliffside, Texas, until 10:15 p.m. CDT Tuesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The warning indicates a radar-detected tornado threat across the Amarillo area.

Approximately 182,445 people, 60 schools and 10 hospitals are within the warned area.

Residents should take shelter immediately in a basement or an interior room on the lowest floor of a sturdy building and stay away from windows.
