Woman dead, man injured after crash in Hardin County

A woman is dead and a man is in the hospital after a crash in Hardin County Tuesday night.

Official response and confirmed impact

The Hardin County Sheriff's Office said the crash happened around 8:37 p.m. in the 4600 block of Hardinsburg Road in Cecilia, Kentucky.

Police said a woman was heading east when she crossed into the westbound lanes, crashing into a pickup truck.

The woman died, while the man was taken to a nearby hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Police said the woman was 57 years old and from Elizabethtown. They have not released her name.
