Gunman on the run after shooting two; Dade Co. elementary on lockdown & residents sheltering in place

Davis Elementary School in Dade County went on a soft lockdown Tuesday morning at about 11:20am after a shooting was reported nearby.

UPDATE: Two men were shot and injured in the 400 block of Michaels Road, the Dade County Sheriff’s Office (DCSO) confirmed Tuesday.

The shooting resulted in a soft lockdown at Davis Elementary School.
