Driver killed in fiery crash in Galt, California

California Highway Patrol is investigating a multi-vehicle crash and fire that killed a driver along Highway 99.

California Highway Patrol is investigating a fiery crash that killed a driver in Galt Tuesday morning.

A vehicle was traveling southbound on Highway 99 south of Twin Cities Road in the far left lane around 4 a.m. when it hit a construction truck in front of it, CHP said.

The vehicle then veered to the right across all lanes of traffic and the right shoulder.
