J-Dub ‘looking forward’ to his return to court — Thunder Media Day

Nursing injuries to his hamstrings, Jalen Williams could only sit and watch as the San Antonio Spurs eliminated the Oklahoma City Thunder in May in a seven-game Western Conference Finals, denying the Thunder a return trip to the NBA Finals.

Official response and confirmed impact

Williams was just an interested observer for the Thunder for much of last season, playing in only 33 regular-season games and five playoff games.

He said Monday, during the Thunder’s annual Media Day at Paycom Center, that his injuries didn’t fully heal until sometime in mid-June.
