Small plane crashes at Buffalo Airport

(Buffalo, MN) — Federal investigators are looking into a small plane crash at Buffalo Municipal Airport Sunday afternoon in Wright County.

The FAA says a replica Piper PA-18 crashed while departing the airport around 4:20 p.m.

Two people were on board, but authorities have not released information about their condition. The FAA and National Transportation Safety Board are investigating.
