contacted Embraer for further comment after Thursday's chamber presentation, which took place at the Florida Institute of Technology's Vertex Applied Innovation Hub.

The Brazilian jet manufacturer issued the following statement:

"We are actively advocating for the KC-390 in the United States because we believe the aircraft offers significant value to the U.S. military.

Any such investment, however, would be contingent upon securing a significant order from the U.S. government.
