Horizon High School stages ‘Clue’ for fall play

Horizon High School’s drama department is presenting a stage adaptation of “Clue” as its fall performance. The show is based on the Clue board game.

It is a whodunit comedy about six guests who gather for a dinner party at a remote mansion and find themselves caught in a plot involving blackmail and murder.

“The show is really crazy.

We get to have a lot of fun not based on reality; a lot of really fun and interesting things get to happen and that all starts with how interesting the characters are,” Escudero said.

“I’m the host of the dinner party that they are having at Boddy Manor and I get to come introduce myself and then I get murdered and the rest of the plot is trying to figure out who murdered me,” Barry said.

Horizon High School’s drama department is known across the state for staging shows with elaborate sets, lighting and performances.

“The fact that we are able to put on a show of this caliber and have it this amazing is very beautiful, and it’s very amazing to be part of this process,” Kariniemi said.
