The Brown Women's Rugby team (1-3) fell to Lindenwood (2-0), 64-0, in Annapolis on Sunday afternoon.

"It's been a tough stretch playing #1 and #2 back-to-back, but the team continues to take valuable lessons away from the games." Kathleen Flores Women's Rugby Head Coach Rosalind Chou said.

"We saw some bright spots from Lauren Huang on the wing and captain Val Detheux.

We will get back to work and prepare for our matchup against AIC".

Brown stayed committed through a demanding afternoon against the Lions, finding stretches of organized defense and steady work even as the score widened.

The team now shifts their focus toward applying those moments in training ahead of their next contest.

Brown will travel to Springfield, Mass., to compete against American International College on Saturday, Oct. 10 at 7 p.m.
