A homeowner has been charged after police said he shot and killed a bear that attacked his livestock in Granby on Friday night.

State Department of Energy and Environmental Protection officials said a homeowner in Granby called DEEP Emergency Dispatch saying he killed a bear that was attacking his livestock.
