• The Michigan offense outgained Iowa 429-285, including a 147-36 advantage in total yards in the first quarter.

• U-M sustained offensive drives of seven, nine, eight, 10, eight and 11 plays, including a nine-play, 89-yard drive that resulted in U-M's first touchdown.
