Walt Disney World vacations are more expensive today than ever, thanks in part to guests now having to pay for two perks that were previously free.

FastPass, Disney’s skip-the-line service, was formerly offered at no extra price.

Now known as Lightning Lane reservations, the privilege now costs upwards of $40 per person, per day, easily adding hundreds of dollars to families’ vacations.

Another flagship service previously provided free transportation and luggage delivery to and from the airport for guests.

This perk, called Disney’s Magical Express, is no longer around, but glimpses of its services are starting to return.

As repeat Disney World guests use the substitutes to Disney’s Magical Express currently in place, some of which cost money and others that don’t, one question often runs through their minds: Would Disney ever bring back the Magical Express in its full form?
