A Virginia teen has been arrested after authorities say he kidnapped his former girlfriend and led Myrtle Beach police on a high-speed chase.
He’s accused eluding officers in Virginia, South Carolina and North Carolina before his arrest late Sept. 24.
Clairborne is accused of abducting his former girlfriend, a 17-year-old from Prince George County, Va., on Sept.
23 from the parking lot of Richard Bland College, per WTVR News.
Charges and court proceedings
Lorenzo Clairborne, 19, faces multiple charges, according to the Myrtle Beach Police Department.
“The investigation remains active and ongoing,” Myrtle Beach police said in a news release. “Additional charges may be forthcoming as the investigation continues.”
