Buckingham Companies, Indiana University Celebrate Grand Opening of The Beverly

The building’s brick and Indiana limestone exterior was designed to complement the architecture of the surrounding campus while creating an active connection to both IU and downtown Bloomington.

“The opening of The Beverly marks an important milestone for Indiana University as our first public-private partnership for student housing,” said Indiana University President Pamela Whitten.

“Our collaboration with Buckingham has created a vibrant new residential community that enhances the student experience while demonstrating how innovative partnerships can help us meet the evolving needs of our university community.”

Buckingham Companies manages more than 15,000 units nationwide and is known for its long-term approach to multifamily and mixed-use development, with an emphasis on sustainability, design quality and community connection.
