3 wounded in shooting outside South Chicago liquor store

Three people were seriously injured in a shooting outside a liquor store in Chicago’s South Chicago neighborhood on Thursday night.

The shooting happened near East 87th Street and South Commercial Avenue, where police and emergency crews responded to reports of multiple people shot.

Chicago fire officials said three victims were taken to hospitals.

One person was listed in serious to critical condition, while two others were reported in fair to serious condition.

Police were seen investigating both inside and outside the liquor store as detectives worked to determine what led to the shooting.

No suspect information or arrests were immediately announced.
