School principal arrested, accused of stalking in North Carolina

Arrest and charges

A warrant alleged that Neal showed up uninvited to a woman’s house on multiple occasions and tried to get inside.

The warrant said she asked Neal repeatedly to stop the “behavior.” Sister-station WITN reported that Neal is the principal at Wellcome Middle School in Greenville.

The station also reported Pitt County Schools suspended Neal with pay on Wednesday.

According to WITN, Neal has been the principal at Wellcome since 2022, and was an assistant principal at other schools before that.

Charges and court proceedings

A principal in North Carolina was arrested and charged with stalking this week, records showed.

Court records showed 42-year-old Keith Louis Neal was arrested in Pitt County on Wednesday, Sept. 23.
