WSAZ+ | Crews respond to apartment building fire + stabbing arrest & more headlines

The Charleston Fire Department is at the scene of a fire at an apartment building.

Metro 911 Dispatch says it is in the 200 block of Beauregard Street at the Elro Apartments. The call came in at 3:30 a.m. Wednesday morning.

Firefighters on scene say the fire is out now, they are just working to make sure hot spots are out as well.

We are told there no injuries, but some pets were lost in the fire.
