COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. (KKTV) -A Colorado Springs Police cruiser was reportedly hit while working a crash scene early Thursday morning.
Police said the officer was using his fully marked cruiser to block a lane of traffic on the southbound off-ramp from I-25 to S Circle Dr. and Lake Avenue at approximately 1:18 a.m.
Police said the cruiser was stationary, and all emergency lights were activated.
The officer was reportedly inside his vehicle when another driver hit the rear of the cruiser.
