Major search as Norwegian Epic cruise passenger goes missing overboard in Bahamas

A search for a passenger who fell overboard from a Norwegian cruise ship has failed to find a trace of them.

The 51-year-old passenger is understood to have fallen overboard at about 3pm yesterday local time while the ship travelled from Jamaica to the Bahamas.

Despite a comprehensive search being mounted, efforts to locate the passengers have now reportedly been called off.
