Flooding as a result of Storm Lilian could hit within hours, forecasts have warned.
The Met Office has issued a yellow weather warning for rain in the South East as Lilian continues to batter the UK. The warning, covering parts of London, Suffolk, Sussex and Kent, as well as Hampshire and the Isle of Wight, comes into effect at 6am on Saturday, with the service urging the downpour will likely cause travel disruption and has the potential to result in flooding in places.
