A teenager was killed in a shooting that injured several others at a party in Signal Hill on Saturday night, authorities said.
The shooting occurred at about 10:16 p.m. in the 1000 block of Burnett Street, according to the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department. Upon arrival, officers with the Signal Hill Police Department found seven victims — three female and four male — suffering from gunshot wounds.
One of the female victims, identified only as a 17-year-old girl, was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The other victims were transported to a local hospital, where they were treated for non life-threatening gunshot wounds. They all range between 17 and 19 years old.
