Brooke Shields, 57, looks stunning in a series of sexy looks as she opens up about her life

Brooke Shields talks about the last phase of her life.

The 57-year-old actress looked stunning on the cover of New beauty magazine wore a silver-belted coat dress with a plunging neckline and showed off her tight legs in sheer black tights.

Her signature dark brown locks were styled in loose curls for the magazine shoot — which will hit newsstands Jan. 10.

In the interview, the Blue Lagoon actress admitted “I’m still a work in progress” as she shared some of her latest endeavors, including her podcast, Now What? with Brooke Shields and her new company, Beginning is Now.

“The brand is for women over 40 and it’s a platform for well-being and wellness,” she explained.

“It’s meant to encourage and inspire women to start new chapters in their lives and look ahead — rather than feeling like their lives are over because they’ve reached a “certain age.”

The website and social media accounts offer daily advice from the Princeton grad and more specific guidance from experts invited to share their wisdom.

Supporting her Beginning is Now mantra, Brooke showcased her timeless beauty in a series of sexy yet sophisticated snaps for the magazine’s cover story, including a charcoal gray business dress with a black plaid jacket, a white pleated dress with a white jacket, and a flirty mini sweater dress with feather trim, black stockings and thigh-high white boots.

The podcast, which launched in October, featured guests such as her Blue Lagoon co-star, Christopher Atkins, actress Jessica Capshaw and comedian Patton Oswalt.

“In the beginning I told guests not to answer anything; I felt like I betrayed them by suddenly being on this “side of it.” I only recently realized that if I’m willing to be vulnerable, people can feel safe talking to me – not like they’re in front of a firing squad. The more I make it an exchange, the more authentic it feels.’

In keeping with her goal for authenticity, the Suddenly Susan star freely admits when it comes to her beauty routine, she can’t give herself a blowout.

But when it comes to keeping her look as youthful as possible, she acknowledged turning to Fraxel laser treatments to target age spots on her face and hands.

Brooke understands that many of her fans cannot afford the treatment, but hopes they will find other products that fit their budget.

“I’ve only recently learned that beauty really is self-care, not self-indulgence.”
